ACARB-1240BC is an excellent filtration medium with excellent absorptive properties. Used for the removal of taste and odors, chlorine, etc. Periodic backwashing is required in down-flow filters. This activated carbon is ''Water Washed'' and much cleaner than many products found on the market. Maximum carbon life is usually 3 years. 12 x 40 Mesh.
