Product Information
ACARB-2050BC is a smaller particle carbon that offers increased surface area and longer contact times. This improves the removal of taste and odors, chlorine, etc. Offsetting this is the fact that using a finer carbon will increase pressure drop through the filter unit which must be taken into consideration when selecting a tank size. Also, because it is a finer material, it is more difficult to ''Water Wash'' and may be somewhat dustier and require a longer initial backwash. 20 x 50 Mesh. .
