Product Information
Reverse Osmosis is the most economic way to purify water. Using membrane separation, RO systems remove just about every contaminent in water to a 95-99% purity level. About the only thing that passes through a reverse osmosis membrane are gasses like CO2 and some minerals.
These APS ULTRA brand R.O. systems are used to purify water for drinking water, aquarium, incubator and humidifyer applications that require all mineral are removed.
Reverse osmosis membranes can remove up to 85%-99.9% of most contaminents. Reverse osmosis must be protected from over concnentration of the waste stream, Chlorine (which will eat away at the pores. and particlutates that can plug the membrane up. By adding deionization in the last housing you can produce up tp 500 gallons of high quality deionized water on a special 10 inch deionizer filter.
This complete system comes with the following :
