This is an APS ULTRA brand R.O./D.I. systems are used to purify water for drinking water, aquarium, incubator and humidifyer applications that require all mineral are removed.
Reverse osmosis membranes can remove up to 90%-99.9% of most contaminents. Reverse osmosis must be protected from over concnentration of the waste stream, Chlorine (which will eat away at the pores. and particlutates that can plug the membrane up. By adding deionization in the last housing you can produce up tp 500 gallons of high quality deionized water.
