This cation (Cat-Ion) filter if pre-generated in hydrogen form. Water containing ions like calcium and magnesium will be purified by trading hydrogen for these ions. This filter also uses Color indicating resins that will change as the cartridge becomes used up. Offers up to 1800 grains capacity. Produce High Purity Water for less than 1/2 the cost of Distilled Water.
