Question

My water softener is about 10 yrs old and I think I need to replace my resin because I dont feel the sot water anymore meaning the water is not slippery anymore. Do you think I need to replace my resin?

Answer

If the softener is still using salt then yes, most likely you need to replace the resin.

If it is not using salt then you may have a problem in the control head.
