Question
Need to locate bypass on my park international water softener. It certainly is not obvious. I have model# RA1040C.
Answer
Normally the bypass valve is on the back of the water softener head. Depending on what head you have it is wither a single handle or two small knobs on the pipe running in and out of the softener.
Other times it is plumbed on the wall. It would be three valves mounted close to the water softener.
and yet other time there is no bypass and you would have to turn off the water to the building to work on the softener.
