Question

We have a model 9000 water softener we had hard well water when purchased. We now have city water but want to still use the softener because the water tends to not be very soft. We dont know how to change the settings to lesser degrees. Can you help me?

Here is the operating manual for the Fleck 9000 softener :

and here is a calculator that will tell you the capacity settings.

Since that is a dual tank system, You would enter the dimensions on just 1 tank to get the correct values.
