Pressure Tank Question

Question

I need to replace the secondary tank to my water softening system The tank is used to maintain pressure to the system during backwash Will the Structural Poly Mineral tank cat PT1054B with Distribution Head cat990S fit the bill

Answer

I don’t see how that would help pressure. Usually in such a case you would use a bladder tank. Is that what you have?
