 | There are 3 basic filter types you will want to consider using with rinse applications. Activated Carbon - Eliminates chlorine from water and helps reduce oxidation of painted surfaces. Mixed Bed Deionization - Removed all dissolved minerals to leave a perfectly clean surface. Also removes chlorine. By pretreating with reverse osmosis these filters will last up to 15 times longer. Seperate Bed Deionization - Removes most minerals in water and leaves a clean visually spot free surface. This filter lasts longer then a mixed bed filter because it lets some of the minerals pass through. Also removes chlorine. By pretreating with reverse osmosis these filters will last up to 15 times longer. Each of these filters includes a 5 micron filter in the end cap to trap particulates and resin fines. When using excessively dirty water you may want to pretreat this filter with a dedicated sediment filter. |
