These fittings are installed into the storage tanks to allow for plumbing connections. Since these flitting are installed on the inside of the tank it can be tricky. Here is our simple method for placing these fittings. Simply drill the hole the correct size for the bulkhead fitting in the site of the tank run a piece of wire through the man way and out the hole you drilled. Put the end of the wire that is at the manway into the fitting and slide the fitting down the wire until you can slide it into the hole you drilled. Place the nut on the fitting and you are all done.
