The Vacuum Desiccator is a molded polyethylene cabinet having one cubic foot of interior space that provides a low humidity environment for the storage of anhydrous, hygroscopic biological and chemical compounds. Features a leak-resistant chemical-resistant gasket for an excellent seal. A 3-way vacuum release valve enables slow release and backfilling with a dry inert gas. The safety glass door provides an unobstructed view that won't diminish over time like acrylic. Includes powder-coated steel wire frame stand, two removable aluminum shelves with 12 (22 mm) holes to support crucibles, and stainless steel pan for granular desiccant. Desiccant not included. Nine molded-in shelf supports on 1" centers allow for flexible shelf arrangement. Desiccator is tested to a full vacuum of 29" of mercury.
