Question
Hello our lab is using B-Pure water purification system D4511 with MB 1801 cartridge Its an old system bought years ago and I cannot find the info I need from specification and online Could you please tell me the resistivity of water after being filtered by MB1801 High Purity Mixed Bed Deionizer Thanks
Answer
The MB1801 will produce 18.2 megohm water. The B-Pure Single housing you have will not though because it is not a recirculating system like its upgraded version called the E-Pure. Usually you pull water off the b-pure single housing that has a meter attached to it. The reading starts low and climbs as more water moves through the filter. You can watch the meter and see it climb. The problem is you waste a lot of expensive water as you wait for it to climb to the desired resistivity. There really is no way to know the initial quality without a meter or quality light installed.
You can see what the e-pure is and it is designed for 18.2 megohm all the time here.
