Question

i have a barnstead epure water system and I want to know what my source water supply should be like

Answer

You can run that on about any kind of source water, but pretreating the water gives you a much longer life to the filters.

Typically they are fed with deionized, distilled or reverse osmosis treated water to remove most of the dissolved metals. With RO, the filters last over 15 times longer. With distilled or deionized feed water it is over 100 times longer for the filters.
