Barnstead B-Pure 7114 Filter

Question

We have the Barnstead B-Pure water treatment system Model 7114 We have recently discovered that we are over purifying out water It is almost DI with the current filters I would like to step down to a filter that would just remove hard water contaminants Would the BF1051 fit our system and would it be sufficient

Answer

No that filter is not for that system

I would need to know about your system to help best but if you only want to remove the hardness you should use the following :

For an 18" housing (normal)

Your best bet however is to use a water softener instead.
