Sanitizing a Barnstead E-Pure System.

Question

Good afternoon We have two of your epure 4 module systems Though I replace the filters they have never been sanitized if that is the correct word Im worried about contamination growing where I cannot see Is there some type of tabletchemical I can add to the system before I change the filters which will sanitizesterilize the system I know that Millipore sells such tablets but I dont know if it will work with your system Thank you

Answer

Yes, we do carry a sanitization filter for that.

There are 3, but you would just use 1 in the first housing.

You take put all the filters, put in 1 of these, recirculate for 20 minutes to 24 hours, remove it, rinse the system and out new filters back in.
