Sanitization of Barnstead / Thermo E-pure Water System

Date : 6/3/2015
From : Peter Siegfried

Question

Hello I recently inherited a lab space with a Barnstead E-pure Series 1090 DI water filter and am unsure of how to maintain it and make it operational again The filter has been inactive for almost 2 years and after reading through the manual Ive gathered that the final filter will need changing after a full sanitation and cartridge replacement The manual has written directions on how to sanitizereplace the cartridges but I was wondering if there were any videopicture tutorials available Also Id like to verify that the D50223 SANITIZATION CARTRIDGES and FL703X2 02 MICRON FINAL FILTER are the correct products to order for sanitizing this model and replacing the filter Thank you Peter Siegfried
