Hello I recently inherited a Barnstead EPure 1090 series water filter and have a question about the resistivity meter The filter has been inactive for almost 2 years and I recently went through the sanitation procedure and have now swapped in the new cartridges The only problem is that the resistivity meter reading is 888 What do I need to do to fix the meter and get it working again
Answer
You might be seeing ERR and Not 888. If it is 888 then the meter is probably shot.
ERR means there is air in the cell or the reading is above 18.2 mehom. You need to clean the cell and make sure there is no air.
