Question

For the 60L RO storage tank Barnstead What is the purpose of the Ventguard filter How does it work What is expendable about it

Answer

The vent filter is used to keep molds, dust and other airborne contaminants out of the tank.

The tank has to breath by adding and removing air as you fill and remove water from the tank.

If you don’t change it often enough it will cut off airflow and the tank can collapse in on itself as a vacuum is created.
