I have a Nanopure II system It operates without signaling an error and using the 167 Meg Ohm setting the display usually reads between 171 to 181 A check of the water output using a calibrated meter shows we are only getting around 12 Meg Ohm I recently replaced the four filter cartridges with no improvement How can I improve the output quality Im not sure what controls the filtration function Might I have a meterprobe issue
Answer
The Nanopure II has not been make is over 25 years. The meter is not calibratable. If the filters are new and in the right order, it would normally do 18 megohm providing the pump is still good and is recirculating. Also it is important how you measured it external. You can not store it and then measure it, it would need to be measured instantly as it exits the system because of carbonic acid formation as it hits air. Your best bet would be to replace it with the E-pure which uses the same filters and works the same. There are no parts available for the Nanopure II. If it is the meter or how you are measuring it, my guess would be you have a bad pump and it isn’t recirculating.
This high capacity four housing lab water system is designed to provide up to 3 l.p.m. of ultrapure water exceeding ASTM and CAP Type I, II or III specifications.
