Question

What is the "safe" storage life for distilled water in one gallon plastic containers? Thank you.

Answer

There really is no “safe” standard.

In gallon bottles it is most like not sterilely packaged and probably says some where “not for potable use”

Shelf like depends on what you are using it for and how it was made and packaged.
