Question
We have a farm with a well. Inside the house is a pressure tank. We supply the water to our neighbor to the north as he doesnt have a well. Between the two houses is a connection which supplys water to our barn. I believe our new neighbor is shutting off his pressure tank when he goes away for extended periods of time. They spent pretty much the entire month of December gone. Because the barn water supply is passive I believe the pressure drops and then our barn water line wont run once the pressure is low enough. Would an inline pump or a pressure tank work best in this situation? Intermittent pressure problems causing either an air lock or merely low pressure to the barn water supply?
Answer
Turning off the other bladder should not affect your pressure. It is more likely your bladder is bad and you are actually running off his bladder unless his is turned off. https://www.apswater.com/article.asp?id=308&title=Troubleshooting+A+Water+Pressure+Bladder+Tank
