I am looking at the salt free water conditioners for a residence. It appears that you do not suggest the ones with Filtersorb for homes. Is there anything you would suggest?

Answer

Unfortunately there is no salt free water softener that works in a residential application, For filtersorb to work it needs constant flow and none of the other salt free softeners do much of anything except to take your money. The only way to really soften water in a home is with a standard water softener. If you are worried about sodium, you need not worry.
