Changing water softener resin 1.5 ft3

Question

I am planing to to change new resin in my 10x54 inch media softener tank which takes1.5 cu ft of resin. I am interested in Purchasing the Purolite C100E resin. Is this resin only available in 1 cu ft bags. Would gravel be necessary to rebed in my application with this resin

Answer

It is available in 1/2 ft3 bags as well. You probably don’t use gravel. You will know for sure when you empty the tank.
