Brine Tank Parts and Brine Tank Salt Decks

Question

Do I need a salt tray for my brine tank? The tank I purchased from you did not have one. Also, it did not have a float assembly. I dont think my old one will fit.

Answer

You don't need a brine deck but it does help the system work better and is inexpensive.

"Use grids and legs in the bottom of your brine tank to help eliminate formation of salt bridges which are hollow spaces in the storage salt that stop the proper amount of salt from dissolving into the brine water."
