Question
Culligan says I need new media A special media for iron removal I have 12 grains hardness and 2ppm well water Are there different media They want 700 and I see the C100e is a lot let than that I need 15 cubes
Answer
It sounds to me like they are just trying to extract money from you. There is no special water softener resin for iron except for fine mesh resin that gives more area for the irn to stick to. It is only used when Iron is > 5 p.p.m.
You would be fine using C-100-E NA (which is an FDA food grade resin and not solvent prone industrial Resin)
