Using Anion and Cation Resin In A Water Softener.

Question

From reading it sounds like I need a system with cation and anion exchange resin Is this accomplished by combining the media or mixed bed within a softener system or is there another system that I need to be looking at I was also wondering about adding carbon into the mix

Answer

We would need to know what the application is for.

You would not usually put anion and cation in a softener unless it was for a specific and rare use.

You would have to let us know what you are using the water for and what you are trying to remove for us to answer this question.
