Question

I have a fleck 5600 water softener control valve system It came with a 9 x 40 resin mineral tank Can I use a different size tank as a replacement What would be the effect in changing the tank size Say I go to a 9 x 44 or 48 tank What be the affect on the performance

Answer

The bigger the tank, the more resin it holds, the more capacity it has and the higher flow rate is possible.
