About Water Distillers and Waste Water

Question

How much distilled water is recovered per gallon processed? Is there a system that can distill 15,000 gallons per day? If yes, What would be the CAPEX

Answer

It really depends on the type of Distiller and what you are using the water for.

We carry up to 80 gallons per day in a stainless steel distiller. You can parallel flow several for more production but a 15000 gallon per day would be a huge custom still.

We offer both water cooled and air cooled distillers.

The water cooled stills are the least efficient as you throw away many gallons of water in order to produce 1 liter.

The air cooled distillers are far more efficient and produce almost 100% distilled water from the source.

There are fare more efficient and less expensive ways to produce high purity water than using a distiller. That would include reverse osmosis, deionization and ultrafiltration.
